My wife never let’s me do anything like this with the furniture! Of course we should have kids first, then maybe she’ll let me
Ha ha! yeah, a grown man playing pirate on the couches might not make as much sense. Kids give you the license to do all kinds of silly things in public.
They really do! Suddenly things you’d never dream of doing (or at least get caught doing) are okay, even encouraged.
Yeah, people might see me doing something strange in public and give me a look, but then they notice the kids and it’s like, oh okay, no big deal. What’s the weirdest thing you ever did in public to amuze your kids?

that’s all our dog does is be the look out! Oh, that reminds me. we did dress our dog up as a pirate for halloween one year. I’ll have to find that post
